The Daily News‘ Michael O’Keeffe has a great piece up about New York Giants defensive end Michale Strahan who’s currently undergoing a very nasty, very public split from his wife. In case you hadn’t caught the tabloid headlines a few days ago, the soon-to-be-ex briefly alleged that Strahan dabbled in an “alternative lifestyle.” Instead of flipping out at the gay whispers and calling a press conference, however, Strahan (a) went to the gym in the West Village, (b) had dinner with the very man he was accused of dabbling with, and (c) quietly said he wasn’t gay, but he didn’t see what the big deal was.
