Naval Pride

Next weekend’s EuroPride parade in London will feature a very-cool first: gay sailors from the Royal Navy marching in uniform. The British Navy was the only branch of the military to give permission to servicemembers to wear their official togs, although gay people are allowed to serve openly throughout. Even better, the Navy’s banking on getting more gays to enlist. And with those dapper uniforms, we have no doubt they’ll succeed.
