Alison Bechdel’s blog has up pictures from her Sunday-night signing at Cattyshack, including one with Brooke and Aja, and another one with a fan who looks a lot like Bechdel, who looks a lot like Mo, if Mo were a live person instead of a drawing. (Speaking of which, we noticed the recent release of a live-action romantic comedy based on the gay-boy comic The Mostly Unfabulous Social Life of Ethan Green. We’re of course still waiting for our Dykes to Watch Out For adaptation.) Also of note: Fun Home got a serious rave in the Sunday Times Book Review which called it a “pioneering work, pushing two genres (comics and memoir) in multiple new directions.” Not too shabby.
