Tonight, the Lesbian Herstory Archive (484 14 st. b/t 8th Ave and PPW in Park Slope) opens up the vault and displays some of their choicest lesbo artifacts with a reception and exhibit geniusly entitled “Snatches of Lesbian Activism: 1970-2005″ Runs from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and is free.
Saturday, Brooklyn Pride festivities kick off with a 5K fun run in Prospect Park at 10 a.m. and then the all-day festival, ending with the night parade up 7th Ave. at 8 p.m. And then, you know, we’re sure we’ll see you on one of the lines at Cattyshack.
Also on Saturday, the Brooklyn Lyceum (227 4th Ave.) will host a dress-up gala for the Anti-Violence Project called Womanhouse Too! Doors open at 8 p.m., cover is 25 dollars.
