Soulforce Riders Get a Donation
Remember the Soulforce riders? Those passel of gay college kids who are bus-ing around the country to military academies, religious colleges, and other places not homo-friendly? Well, in addition to the odd arrest for trespassing, they’ve also been collecting some fans. They stopped at West Point yesterday (where they were promptly arrested), but Ex-Gay Watch blog has up news that one of the riders, Monica Carmean, got a donation for $67o from “friends of cadets.” The blogger reports that the cash is actually from 20 current cadets who support the riders, one of whom who said that the reason for the donation was because Monica was “cute.” Not clear if the alleged cadet is male or female, but we guess a girl can hope.
