Gotham Girls in Brooklyn
Catching those ladies on skates will be a lot easier come next month. The Gotham Girls roller derby league will be moving to Long Island University’s Brooklyn campus after their previous base, the Skate Key in the Bronx, closed down last month. The move to the Schwartz Athletic Center is only temporary though—they’re still looking for a permanent home. The first match will be the on May 6 between the Manhattan Mayhem and the Bronx Gridlock.
