Iyari Limon on AfterEllen
Buffy’s newly-out Iyari Limon gives an interview to AfterEllen in which she talks about her hot DJ girlfriend, and reveals some dirt about The L Word casting process. It turns out she auditioned for the Carmen role and had to play a scene with Katherine Moennig, in which she sat on her lap in front of the show’s execs. During the scene, Limon improv-ed and whispered something dirty in Spanish in Moennig’s ear. She didn’t get the role—but she was surprised to watch later and hear her sweet dirty nothings being uttered in Sarah Shahi’s really bad Spanish.
