We saw in Advocate editor Anne Stockwell’s report from Dinah Shore that Laurel Holloman was briefly booed when she got up on the bandstand to address the crowd. The ladies, it seems, didn’t like that Tina is now sleeping with boys. To which we say, there are so many other reasons than that to boo.

We also wanted to point to this hard-working essay over on AfterEllen, that looks at last season’s botched handling of butch and trans identities. The writer tries hard to offer thoughtful critiques on the many problems with Moira/Max, before coming to the conclusion that the show just sucked and was way beyond help. Only she says it nicer.
