The NY Times reports major Christian, Jewish, and Muslim leaders are banding together to stop the planned WorldPride festival and parade in Jerusalem this August. Well, it’s nice to know they found something to agree on. There’s lots of predictable venom from all corners, but leave it to an American to offer the choicest soundbite. Rabbi Yehuda Levin, of the Rabbinical Alliance of America has been organizing opposition to the festival and was quoted at a Jerusalem press conference saying, “This is not the homo land, this is the Holy Land.”
